Your Questions About Varicose Veins Treatment

Ruth asks…
Varicose Veins Treatment Options – What are they?
What are the varicose veins treatment options available? My aunt has
been getting pains in her legs and there are all these veins popping
up along her calf and ankles. What are her treatment options?

Rene Heasman answers:
Hey Kevin,
My mom recently went to a clinic called Mississippi Vein Institute,
they deal with a lot of vein related issues. My mom had spider veins
and they used laser vein ablation on her. I think it depends on the
condition and the severity. I would call them to figure out what she
might need.

Michael asks…
Is it okay to wear Knee Socks for Varicose Veins as treatment?
Hi.
I would Like to ask, cause I have varicose veins, but not really big and obvious.. But I would like it to be treated before it gets worse.
I read don’t wear knee socks for these. but I saw others that you can also wear that instead of compressions stockings. So is it okay? HELP.
And it’s not really tight with me, the knee socks of mine.
I’m planning on wearing it at night.

Rene Heasman answers:
Compression bandages will work better. Knee socks wont really make much of a difference. You could also take Diosmin or Hesperidine and keep your legs elevated whenever you can.

Hi There,
Genetic, pregnancy, oral contraceptives, obesity, prolonged sitting, lifting heavy weights, hormonal treatment & wearing constricting clothes are the prime suspects for varicose veins.
Conventional treatment often includes sclerotherapy (for spider veins), where the doctor injects a solution into the vein that causes the vein walls to seal shut. Also common methods of treatment are laser surgery or surgical removal of the varicose veins.
Many herbal and homeopathic remedies have been used to promote circulation, and keep a healthy flow of blood pumping through the body and serve as a natural remedy for varicose veins. Astragalus membranaceous is a well-known revitalizing herb used for boosting circulation, while Ruscus acluteatus is known extensively in Europe to improve circulation and relieve pain and discomfort associated with leg conditions thus serving as a natural remedy for varicose veins.
Anther natural remedy for varicose veins includes homeopathic ingredients such as Rhus tox, Zincum metallicum and Magnesium phosphate all help to promote health in the lower limbs and keep lymph and blood flowing freely. Skin health can be promoted through homeopathic ingredients such as Natrium muriaticum, Kalium muriaticum and Kalium sulphate to distribute oxygen throughout the body and to each individual cell and keep all cell membranes healthy.
By providing essential oxygen to inflamed or infected cells, these ingredients effectively assists healing, reduces inflammation and removes infected or dead cells.
